	Continuing Education Opportunities and Discounts ß PTWA Conferences Twice each year, PTWA holds a two-day conference featuring high-quality topical speakers. Visit the PTWA Conference website for topics, dates and locations for upcoming conferences. ß APTA Continuing Education APTA offers numerous courses at locations around the country, as well as online and audio learning options.
	Reimbursement Information and Advocacy ß Use this form to fax your questions to the PTWA Reimbursement Committee and specialist for responses within three business days. ß The committee continues to negotiate with and educate payers including Regence Blue Shield and the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries regarding reimbursement issues affecting physical therapy practice and services.
	Legislative Advocacy The PTWA Legislative Committee and membership advocate with state and federal legislators, as well as regulatory agencies to improve: ß Title protection and other scope of practice issues ß Increased direct access ß Improvements in Medicare ß Preservation of Stark II rules against self-referral
